SFO T2 Air Traffic Control Tower Demolition and Building Modifications

This project involves demolition of the old air traffic control tower (ATCT), and the existing office tower above Terminal 2 (T2). A new two-story building will be built back in keeping with the San Francisco International Airport’s (SFO's) guiding principles for Revenue Enhancement and Customer Hospitality (REACH). New features may include an employee restaurant, office space, and an observation deck with public access. The project also involves the development and construction of an additional aircraft parking position and boarding gate at T2, an upgraded airfield lighting control and monitoring system, relocation of the SFO backup microwave antenna, and the installation of a new emergency satellite phone.
